Doing business in a sustainable manner
Our sustainability commitments
Home Grown Club is committed to sustainability and
has developed a comprehensive strategy to minimise its
environmental impact.
Sustainable Business of the Year
Home House Collection has been awarded the ‘Sustainable Business of the Year’ award at the London Lifestyle Awards 2023 at Grosvenor House.
Home House Collection is made up of Home House and Home Grown.
Accreditation and certification
We have received the Positive Luxury accreditation,
which is awarded to luxury businesses in recognition of their commitment to creating positive impact on society and the planet.
Energy, water and paper reduction
To reduce energy consumption, we use energy-saving light bulbs throughout the facility. We also source our food and beverage supplies locally, reducing transportation emissions and supporting local businesses. To reduce water consumption and laundry-related energy use, we change bedroom linen every other day for guests staying more than one night. We have also implemented paperless membership and administration processes.
Supporting ESG & Greener Business
We support sustainable businesses to promote sustainability in the wider community. Throughout all of our business practices we adhere to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and are committed to integrating this into our events programme and content. Our recent Green Shoots initiative promoted five shortlisted sustainable businesses on their growth journey, providing them with membership credit and access to business mentors.
Reforestation for the Climate and Communities
Home Grown has partnered with Ecologi, that only supports responsible tree planting where ecologically appropriate species are planted at the right place and time and trees are guarded from natural and man-made threats.
We’ve funded several hundred trees and will continue to do so for every new member that joins Home Grown. If you wish to grow a green community, add to our forest by clicking below.
