Rockstar On The Road Goes To Manchester: Jo Fairley, Green & Black’s

Wednesday 29 March, 6.30pm

Join us at Hotel Gotham, Manchester, for an evening of inspiring conversation with Jo Fairley, the mastermind behind Green & Black’s sale. She will share her story from start, scale to sale to Cadbury and learnings in conversation with ScoreApp Co-Founder Daniel Priestley.

This event is part of our Rockstar Series, where we’ve hosted some of the biggest names in entrepreneurship. From Levi Roots to Kelly Hoppen, our speakers are true rockstars in their fields, and we’re bringing the show to Manchester for the first time.

Green & Black’s was founded in London in 1991, by husband and wife, Craig Sams and Jo Fairley. Craig was the organic pioneer, opening Britain’s first natural food shop in 1969. Upon his quest for organic peanuts, he came across what was soon to be Green & Black’s – organic cocoa. He commissioned a sample of chocolate with 70% cocoa, real vanilla, and most importantly it was organic. The first of its kind in the UK. As a journalist, Jo knew this chocolate had to be taken to market.

All guests will be given 15% off rooms booked for the event and 15% off at the BAR. For anyone driving, valet parking will be available for £35 overnight and Bentley transfer locally are available as well. Please send these enquiries to reservations@hotelgotham.co.uk
