But, instead of focusing on a restricted life in a wheelchair, he has focused on living life outside the box. Jamie has faced his situation and through recognition of his journey, he has become inspired to launch a career in inspirational speaking, covering topics such as diversity, anxiety, depression, goal-setting, overcoming adversity and neurodiversity. Jamie has been a guest speaker for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Tim Ladd, Founder and Managing Director of Red Umbrella

The Importance of Mental Health in the Workplace
Managing Director and Founder, Tim Ladd, started Red Umbrella in 2014 with the aim to provide an ethical and effective solution to some of the issues he’d witnessed in the mental health and wellbeing industry. Backed by his passion for mental health, personal experiences and vision to change the way mental health is viewed, Tim sought to address the gaps he’d observed, such as inadequate support systems and stigma, which lead to the creation of Red Umbrella.
